Obituary.
Clara B. Martin, widow of the late N.A.J. Martin, died at her home in Augusta Saturday night at 11:30 o'clock, after a lingering illness.
Her husband preceded her to the final reward last July. Surviving her are five daughters and eight grandchildren.
She was a dutiful wife, a kind and loving mother, a noble Christian and a true friend, and will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
Funeral services were held at the Christian church on Christmas afternoon, at 3:00 o'clock, conducted by the minister, Rev. Neal Overman.
