WILKINSON, W.Va. — Delana Rose Jude, 58, of Yuma Camp in Wilkinson, was accepted into God's loving arms Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at her residence while surrounded by family.

Born May 28, 1951, in Logan, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Arville and Mary Ruth Browning.

Delana was a life long member of the Monahill Memorial Freewill Baptist Church where she faithfully served her Lord by teaching Sunday School, praying for the sick, and actively taking part in all church activities. She retired after 40 years of employment of which the last 18 years were at Dr. S.C. Bhanots office in Stollings. While she was employed there, she touched the lives of all who entered with her loving smile and kind words. She never met a stranger and never failed to brighten someones day. She will be sadly missed by all who were ever blessed to have known her.

Survivors are her loving husband of 38 years; Jesse J. Jude; three sons; Jesse (Angela) Jude of Wilkinson, Jason (Abbye) Jude of Garretts Fork, and Jeff Jude of Yuma; four grandchildren, Tiffany, Trey, Haidyn and Caysen Jude; four sisters, Brenda Browning of San Antonio, Texas, Wanda (Gary) Damron and Carla (Greg) Ramey, both of Monitor, and Debbie (Garrett) Perry of Cow Creek; three brothers, Rick (Mary Jo) Browning and Denny (Diane) Browning, both of Holden, and Keith Browning of San Antonio, and a host of additional family and friends.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 4, at the Monahill Memorial Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Andy Maynard and Rev. Eric Rakes officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is in charge of the arrangements.
