Roanoke Rapids, —Benjamin Thomas Drewett, 65, died Tuesday afternoon in a Raleigh hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock from Concord Church near Seaboard by the Rev. J.P. Pegg and burial will be in the church cemetery. Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Geneva Rivenbaak and Mrs. Madgie ford of Richmond, Mrs. Betty ford of Baltimore; and two sons, Henry Drewett of Seaboard, Waverly Drewett of Richmond; three brothers, Walter and Charlie of Seaboard, Norman of Roanoke Rapids; one half-brother, George Drewett of Seaboard; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Brown of Florida and seven grandchildren.
