A resident of Wallaceburg passed away at home on Friday, Nov. 27, 2009. Born in 1935 to William and Gladys (Martin) Lawrence, and lived here childhood years on the home farm in Dawn Township. She was married June 5, 1954 to her husband William (Bill) Aarssen and they lived a 55year happy marriage. She is survived by children; Lonnie (Janice)Aarssen, Julie(David) Clarvella, and Carol (Robert) Steele. Predeceased by her brother Donald Lawrence. Funeral wake at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home in Wallaceburg on Friday. Celebration of Shirley's life held at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Horrobin on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009. Interment following at Dresden Cemetery.
