Harold David Phillips, 37, of Wichita, son of Mrs. Ben Walje of Pleasanton, and a former resident serveral years, died Sunday, May 9, following a heart attack,

Born in Little River, Kansas he moved here with the family, then after working in Fort Scott he moved to Wichita in 1956. He owned and operated the Phillips Rare Coins Company in that city. He was a member of the Methodist Church, American Mumismatic Association and Wichita Coin Club.

Survivors include the widow, Jean; two daughters, Rhonda and Sondra, all of the home; his mother, Mrs. Ben Walje, Pleasanton; two sisters, Mrs. Zerlene Monslow, Zillah, Washington; Mrs. Lorita Bott, Nevada, mo.; and two brothers, Leonard, Orlando Fla., and Elmer of Portland, Oregon.

Funeral services were held at the Culbertson Mortuary Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, with the Rev. Michael Schepis officiating. Interment was in the Resthaven Gardens of Memory at Wichita. Casket bearers were Gene Hook, Harold Frost, Larry Ledbetter, Ed Taylor.
