Betty Slocum Bratton of Roanoke passed away Sunday Dec. 3, 2000. She was a member of Vinton Church Of The Brethren. She had a love for children and over the years served as Foster mother to over 225 childern. She was preceded in death by her husban of 33 years, George H Braton. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Kay and David Adkins, Wanda and Danny Shirah, Tresa Hall,
sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and GiGi Hall, Ricky and Patti Bratton, Brent Bratton.
