They were Mayflower Descendants thru their mother's Mann lineage to Richard Mann & Elder William Brewster.Col. Kent married Berenice A. Rowell, Jan. 11, 1859 in Boston. They had two children, Berenice Emily Kent, born October 31, 1866 and Henry Percy Kent, born March 8, 1870.They were members of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Lancaster.
