Mary Margaret Allen, 76, of Centreville, died March 5, 2004, at Field Memorial Community Hospital in Centreville.
Visitation is 9 a.m. Monday until services at noon at Newman Funeral Home in Centreville. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Centreville.
Mrs. Allen was born May 13, 1927, in Centreville. She was the daughter of Paul and Bessie Mae Rushing Allen. She was an employee of Robinson Brothers Mercantile Co. for many years and retired as town clerk of Centreville. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Paul D. Allen.
Survivors include one sister-in-law, Carolyn D. Allen of BatonRouge, La.; three nieces and their husbands, Jennifer Allen Bello and Michael, and Dawn Allen Bordelon and Jay, all of Baton Rouge, and Cathy Allen Doggett and Dr. Lewis Doggett III of Anniston, Ala.; one nephew and his wife, Jeffrey Paul Allen and Jeanine Parsons Allen of Port Allen, La.; four great-nieces and six great-nephews.
