Mrs. E.C. Carr Dead.

Well Known Butler County Woman Ill Only Short Time.

Mrs. Daisy Lee Carr, 35 died Friday, January 13, at her home five miles northeast of Augusta after an illness of six weeks. Funeral services will be held at the Baptist church tomorrow afternoon at three o'clock conducted by the Rev. Hageman. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Carr was born October 8, 1886 on a farm northeast of Augusta and grew to womanhood there. She was married in 1909 to E.C. Carr and to this union were born six children, five boys, Joe, James, George, William and Edmond and one daughter, Pauline who died in infancy.

She is survived by her husband, five sons, her mother, Mrs. J.P. Rutherford, four brothers and two sisters. Her father J.P. Rutherford died last September.

During her long residence near Augusta Mrs. Carr made a host of friends, who will be grieved to hear of her death. She was a fond mother and devoted wife and she will be greatly missed by her family as well as by her many friends.
