Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret E. Abbey, 59, of 371 Liberty St., will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church. The Revs. Paul Piotter and Richard Holm will officiate. Burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Abbey will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday. Mrs. Abbey died Saturday, Oct. 27, 1979, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born May 24, 1920, in Oakfield, a daughter of John and Hulda Hundertmark Franke. On Sept. 24, 1938, she was married to Clarence Abbey at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. Mrs. Abbey was a member of Immanuel Trinity Church and a former member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, Auxiliary 810. Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mary Jean) Hendrix, of St. Peter; two sons, Robert of Sandwich, IL., and Edward of Fond du Lac; five sisters, Mrs. Lucinda Wiese and Mrs. Lillian Kollman of Oakfield, Mrs. Elmer (Leona) Schaumberg of Fox Lake, Mrs. George (Dayla) Suprenand and Mrs. Ervin (Hilda) Miller, both, of Lamartine; three brothers, Alphone Franke of Mayville, Herbert Franke of Oakfield and Roland Franke of Route 5, Fond du Lac; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers.
