Cliff was the Energizer Bunny. He was always working at everything he did at a fast pace. He was a self taught mechanic who could diagnois a vehicle's problem from the sound it made, just hearing it over the phone. He worked at John T's Auto repair with his brother John. He loved every minute of it. He worked construction with his brothers J. P. and Jimmy and nephews Hank and Jacob. He loved every minute of it. Cliffie loved to play cards. It was the highlight of his weekend to go to his sister Pauline's house and play cards all weekend long. There wasn't any place he'd rather be than at the dirt car races cheering on his nephews who drove dirt cars. Win or loose he was proud of them. His favorite place to go off to eat was Middendorf's in Manchac.

Now for the sad part. Clifford Teal died at 11:45 PM on December 6, 2009. He had his second heart attack in 4 months. He had also suffered 5 brainstem strokes on May 12, 2009.

Cliff's brothers and sisters are as follows:
Hazel Burns - Jeannette Blanchard - J. P. Teal - Pauline Davidson - John Teal - Nellie Churchwell

He was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Nellie Teal, and 3 brothers, Leonard Starr, Robert Rogers and Jimmy Teal and 2 sisters, Flora Starr and Geraldine Netterville.

Cliff was from Mississippi but he fell in love with south Louisiana when he was 20 or so and migrated there along with all of his family. He never met a stranger. He loved to dance. He was a good dancer. He was a good man. . .
