Mrs. Bennett was born July
14, 1892, the daughter of Win-
field Scott Ridgeway and Har-
riet Ann Pool Ridgeway in
Audrain County. She married
Ara L. Burnett May 30, 1910. He
died in 1956.
She was a member of the
First Baptist Church and the
Ladies Auxillary for Rural Mail
Carriers.
Survivors include a daughter,
Mrs. Dulice Vanderpool, and a
grandson, B. S. Vanderpool,
of Centralia; three sisters,
Mrs. Earl Pollock, Sturgeon,
Mrs. E. M. Anderson, Mexico,
and Mrs. Belle Faddis, Cape
Girardeau; one granddaughter,
Mrs. Peggy Jane Baumgardner,
Hazelwood, and three great-
grandchildren.
