Mrs. Andrew Morehead of Forest Hill died at that place last Thursday night at 10 o'clock after a lingering illness. Mrs. Morehead was one of the most highly esteemed ladies of the Divide, having gained the affections of all by her kind and lovable disposition. She has been a great sufferer for the past two years, a victim to the dread disease dropsy. A short time ago she came to this city and was the guest of Mrs. Robert Waugh at the Auburn Hotel, and during her stay here became much improved but was called home by the illness of her son Frank. Since then she has grown worse, and Thursday she died. Her husband, six sons, and one daughter survive her. Mrs., Morehead has been a resident of the Divide for between 35 and 40 years, and her loss will be keenly felt by all who knew her. She was about 45 years of age. The funeral takes place today.
