Sarah Louise Hope the daughter of Beaden and Matilda Francis Hope was born March 11th 1923 in Salem, OK. She started attending church services at a very early age and attended school in Oklahoma and Kansas. She met and married Bruce Nelson in Muskogee, OK. To this union was born, Martha Louise, Mary Bruceen, Linda Kay and Rebecca Ann. This union later dissolved. She then met and married Alfred Williamson and his daughters Terry, Marilyn, Georgia and Lila. She began her higher education endeavors at Connor's State College and received her BS degree and MS degree from Northeastern University. She was working on her PHD at Oklahoma State when her health began to fail. She enjoyed many years of community service, and teaching in Dewar, OK and was a member of the Silver Springs Baptist Church for many years. Her life was based on her Faith, her Family and her Friends. She raised her children in the church and led them on the pathway based on God's words, His grace, and His blessings. She demonstrated always the importance of knowing, loving, and caring for your family. She traveled the world for her children and grandchildren and yet emphasized, being a lady, being courteous and being a true friend. She is preceded in death by her husband Alfred Williamson; her mother, Matilda Francis; her father, Beaden Hope; her sister, Christine Ransom; her brothers, Curtis Hughes and Jerry Tuggle.She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters, Martha White of the home, Mary Henderson of Arlington TX, Linda Woolfolk of Woodbridge VA, and Rebecca Wilson of Arlington TX and brothers, Beaden Hope, Ivory Tuggle, Green Littleton Tuggle, Quinten Tuggle, and Herman Tuggle; eleven grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends. Wake service will be held at 6:00 pm Monday evening at the Silver Springs Baptist Church. Services will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at the Silver Springs Baptist Church with Rev. A. J. Tiger officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah, OK under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
