MRS. GREESON DIES AT HOME
Mrs. Martha M. Greeson, 70, former part-time clerk in the St. Paul post office, died suddenly Tuesday evening while mowing the yard at her home in St. Paul. Death was attributed to a heart attack, according to the Decatur County coroner.
Born in Shelby County April 11, 1898, she was the daughter of John P. and Josie (Young) Jones. On November 5, 1919, she was married to John B. Greeson and he died in 1922.
Mrs. Greeson was an active member of the St. Paul Methodist Church and the W.S.C.S. of the church.
Survivors are one son, William Ernest Greeson, St. Paul; one grandson, Dean Greeson; one brother, Roy Jones, Milford, and two sisters, Mrs. Zella Paul, St. Omer, and Mrs. Ethel McDonald, St. Paul. Also surviving are four half-brothers, Merle Jones, Tampa, Florida, Orval Jones of Shelbyville, Forrest Jones of Indianapolis and John Weidner, Secaucus, New Jersey; and two half-sisters, Mrs. Naomi Triesch of Anderson and Mrs. Dora Monroe, R.R.5 Shelbyville.
Services at the Carmony Funeral Home in St. Paul with Rev. William Culbreath officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery south of Geneva.
