Leora Alice Fleming NORFOLK - Leora Alice "Petie" Fleming, 83, passed away Dec. 8, 2009, in Sentara Leigh Hospital surrounded by her loving family. A native of Halls Station, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Jess and Lillie Grable. She was a member of the Bayview Senior Club and the Colonial Heights Church of Christ and the Faith Covenant Church in Pinellas Park, Fla. She is survived by her husband, Carl Fleming; two daughters, Regina Underwood and husband Bill and Colette Hill and husband Richard; three sons, George Fleming and wife Lorene, Carl Fleming, Danny Fleming and wife Suzy; two sisters, Verna Lee Downing and Almeda Langley and husband Orris; and three brothers, Charles Grable and wife Gladys, Claude Grable and Jesse Grable and wife Nancy.She was predeceased by her sister Juanita Sailor and survived by her husband Charlie. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Billy and his wife Jennifer, Chris and his wife Heather, Nicholas and Brandon Underwood, Rachel Hill, Kerrie Dameron and her husband Troy, Carl and his wife Candice, Dan and Lacy Fleming; and four great- grandchildren, Kaleb, Madi, Chloe and Hannah Underwood. A funeral will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Curry of Colonial Heights Church of Christ officiating. The burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today 6 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
