Montrose, Oct 24—D T Brewster, 79, died at his home in Cherry street Wednesday afternoon. He was the son of Mr and Mrs Horace Brewster and grandson of Eldad Brewster, one of the pioneers of Bridgewater township. He was a graduate of Mansfield Normal school and studied law with L F Kiteh and was admitted to the bar in 1876. He had practiced law in Montrose slnco being admitted to the bar.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter Anna, living at home, and the following sons: Herbert Brewster of Montrose, Frederick Brewster of Scranton, Dr Truman Brewster of Buffalo, Riggs Brewster, teacher in a missionary school at Athens, Greece. A sister, Mrs E C Smith of Montrose, and a brother, Dr Fred Brewster of Scranton. also survive. The funeral was held Friday at his home and burial was in Montroee cemetery.
