Mrs. Elizabeth Agnes Bish, widow of David Wesley Bish, who died March 29, 1942, died suddenly on Thursday afternoon, September 10, 1942, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Wells, RD 5 of New Bethlehem.
She lived in a small home near the Wells, residence, and had gone to her daughter's when she was stricken. She died within a short time.

Mrs. Bish was born October 3, 1865 a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Moyer Young.

She is survived by the following children:
Robert Bish, New Bethlehem; Mrs. A. F. Ruth, RD 5, New Bethlehem; Mrs. Charles Markle, Freeport; Mrs. Ralph Shick, Templeton; Earl Bish, Rimersburg; Mrs. Ott Barrett, RD 5, New Bethlehem; Mrs. Charles Powell, Distant; Mrs. George Wells, RD 5, New Bethlehem; Mrs. Paul Kunselman, Distant; Mrs. Irwin Boyer, RD 5, New Bethlehem, and Ralph Bish, RD 3 Rimersburg. She also leaves 37 grandchildren, including 4 grandsons serving in the U.S. Armed Forces and nineteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Wells. The Reverend J.F. Schaeffer, pastor of the Church of God, Distant, officiated. Burial was made in the Distant cemetery under the direction of W. S. Vorous.
