Mrs. Katherina Sorg died Thursday evening at the home of her daughter Mrs. Christ (Christian) Thon 508 Abend street, aged 90 years.
She was born March 25, 1810 in Prussia. She emigrated with her husband and children to Belleville in 1857. Her husband Andreas (Andrew) died in 1891. (different spellings of maiden name Heym / Heim)
She leaves two daughters, Mrs Margaretha Thon and Mrs. Henrieta Burchardt. She also leaves 21 grand children and eleven great-grandchildren. The funeral will take place on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 to Walnut Hill Cemetery.
