Nancy Harris Gentry Bush was the daughter of Richard Gentry and his first wife, Jane Harris Gentry. Nancy became the wife of Jeremiah Bush (1789-1942) on 19 Dec 1811 in Winchester, Clark, KY. Two years after the marriage the couple secured 300 acres of land in Madison County, three mi. east of Richmond, KY, and put up a house there in 1804. Their children were Richard Gentry (1812-1895)(m. Anna Mitchell), Felix Glenroy (b 1814)(m. 1st Almira Dearborn, 2nd, Sarah Todd), Valentine (b abt 1814), Glorenna Whipple (1816-1867)(m. Reuben Elkin), James Harris (1818-1866)(m. Julia Franklin)(served 6 yrs as county judge; 8 yrs as member of state assembly), Ambrose Gholson/Gohlson (1823-1903)(m. 1st Catherine "Kitty/Kittie" Hampton, 2nd Martha Hampton, 3rd Fannie A. Shields), Oliver Edward (b 1825)(m. 1st Dorinda Crimm/Crimme, 2nd Harriet Hadgecoat), Maj. William Martin (1827-1900)(1827-1900; d. Greenville, TX; m. Lucy G.
