Margaret "Margie" Michels age 60 of St. Paul (daughter of Glenn and Elphie Larson of Baldwin) died suddenly Wednesday December 9th in St. Paul. Margie was born on August 20, 1949 in Worthington, Minnesota; the daughter of Edmund and Elphie (Clothier) Michels. She was raised in St. Paul attending St. Mark's Parochial School before graduating from Central High School. Margie worked twenty-six years for the Fairview University Hospital system in their accounting department where she developed many friends over the years. She loved all sorts of needlework such as crocheting and sewing. She appreciated a good book, a scenic nature landscape, and her beloved cats. Margie is survived by her parents Glenn and Elphie Larson, siblings Richard (Mimi) Michels of Germany, Jimmy Michels of Hammond, Corrie Gregerson of Baldwin, and seven nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Edmund and brother Kenneth Michels.
A time to reflect and celebrate the life of Margaret "Margie" Michels will be on Sunday December 13th from 1Pm until 3Pm at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home in Baldwin. Burial will follow at the Woodside Cemetery in Baldwin with Pastor John Hanson of Peace Lutheran Church officiating. Memorials are preferred
