Sarah married Otis Stearns March 1,1855, Lenawee co,MI.children, Myrtle, Charles Marshal, Albert Bay. Brown hair, blue eyes. her parents were Willus Camburn and Lula Birdsell from Aurelius, Cayuga co,NY. sister Mary. she and Otis raised 4 of Charles' little girls after their mother, Lillian, died 1886 in Boon,MI. and Carlton and Ione after their mother, Edith, died 1901 in TN. she and Otis and the kids moved from Deerlodge,TN to Fairhope, Al to be near Albert Stearns. they lived in a small rental house for a few years. the girls were involved in many plays and dances and outings on the boats. when Winnie married they went out to CA on the train where Winnie and her husband were. Charles had moved out to Hoquiam, WA with his in-laws, the Masons, so they went on up there. the house at 818 K st is still there. they were living at 722 J st when she died. Sarah had a green parrot that used to hang upside down under the edge of the table, he used to bite her arms, they were scarred. we have some wooden cut out parrots that Otis or Charles made for her. she left all the antique furniture behind in MI.
