Was Killed in Action on the front lines in Germany during World War II - six days before V-E Day

"Arlin White was with Warren Gerling when Warren was killed. Warren was leading the patrol up a riverbank in Germany. After appearing from the bushes Warren was killed by a German machine gunner who immediately after killing Warren Gerling, the German surrendered."
