Tom Heggy
Tom Heggy, 85, died Sunday afternoon at his home, 630 East 4th. after an illness of one week. He moved here in 1924 from Stafford.
Mr. Heggy was born March 18, 1873, at Girard, Ill.
His first wife, Minnie, died in 1929. His second wife, Myrtle, died in 1950.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Ralph Hornbaker, Tempe, Ariz., and Mrs. Arcy Crey [s/b Krey], Great Bend; sons, W.E., Zenith; Roy T., and Fred M. both of Hutchinson; brothers, Bert, Minneola, and Hershel, Sylvia; sisters, Mrs. Frank Murphy, Winter Haven, Calif., and Mrs. Roy Sturgeon, Zenith; 18 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Peacock and Soice Chapel, Stafford. Bro. Joe Wooten will officiate. Burial will be in Stafford Cemetery.
