OBITUARY
FRANCES L. MCGREGOR
Mrs. Frances L. McGregor, a native and for many years a resdient of this county, died at San Mateo, California, Feb 19, 1903.
She was a daughter of Judge Thomas C. Chittenden of Adams, who later moved to Watertown, where he lived at his death. She was born at Adams, June 19, 1820.
In early life, she married Robert McGregor, and for a number of years they lived at Smithville, in this county. From Smithville they moved to Adams, and later to Watertown, Mr. McGregor being engaged in mercantile business in both latter places.
From Watertown they went to Michigan where Mr. McGregor was in business first in Detroit and later in Albion.
Of late, Mrs. McGregor has lived with her niece, Mrs. Alfred S. Brewer, at San Mateo, Cal. where her husband died a few years ago.
She leaves a nephew and two nieces in California; a niece, Mrs. Mary Cunningham, in Connecticut, two brothers, William J. Chittenden and George C. Chittenden of Detroit, Mich., and two sisters, Mrs. W.C. Thompson and Mrs. H. H. Ayers of Watertown.
