Bert H. Cole
Bert H. COLE, 78, well-known retired farmer, died at 2 a.m. today at his home, 128 West Seventh street, this city. He had been in failing health for the past five months. He had been a resident of Rochester and vicinity for 57 years coming here from Homer, Ill.
The son of George and Lavina (GIBSON) COLE, he was born Oct. 6, 1876, near Homer, Ill. He was married to Della ROBBINS May 7, 1902 in this city. Mr. Cole was a member of the Grace Methodist church of this city.
Survivors are his wife, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Frederick PERSCHBACHER, this city; a son, Harold COLE, Indianapolis; a granddaughter, Marilyn COLE, Rochester; four sisters, Mrs. Theodore WHITE, Winchester; Mrs. Willard JACKSON, Frankfort; Mrs. Edna KEYES, Peru, and Mrs. Stant THOMPSON, Carmel; a brother, Frank COLE, Indianapolis and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. EST Monday at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home with Dr. Claude YOUNG officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemeter. Friends may call at the funeral home.
