SADIE A. MYERS of Kittanning R.D. 5, widow of William Myers, who died in 1932, died Wednesday November 8, 1961 at her home at 4:25 p.m. She was born in Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County, October 15, 1877, daughter of William and Miriam Foster Myers. She was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ. She is survived by one son, Robert C. Myers, of Brockport; four daughters, Mrs. Audley (Isabelle) Lasher of Kittanning R.D. 5; Mrs. Edward (Jean) Kester of Kittanning R.D. 5; Mrs. Robert (Grace) Pore of Ford City R.D. 1; Mrs. James (Mary) Dailey of McGrann; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Four brothers; Dorsey Taylor of Goshen, N. Y., Wade Taylor of Youngstown, Ohio, James Taylor of Colorado Springs, Col., Boyd Taylor of Kittanning also survive. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and Friday. Services will be held in Salem United Church of Christ at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 11. The body will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. to hour of service. The Rev. Raymond C. Strine and Rev. Eli Fabian will officiate and interment will follow in the Salem cemetery.

Funeral services for Sadie A. Myers of Kittanning RD 5, who died Nov. 8, were held Saturday at Salem United Church of Christ with Raymond C. Strine, Rev. Eli Fabian and Rev. Arnold Slagle officiating. Pall bearers were Roy Hart, Austin Dailey, Fred Lasher, Fred Ridenour, Howard Lasher and Mack Ellenberger. Interment was in the Salem cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of Carson funeral home, Rural Valley.
