Mrs. Sadie A. Myers, 84, of Kittanning RD 5, widow of the late William H. Myers, who died in 1932, died at 4:25 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 8, 1961) at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Edward Kester, Kittanning RD 5, Mowing a lingering illness. Mrs. Myers was born Oct. 15 1877, in Sugarcreek Twp., Armstrong County, a daughter of William and Meriam (Foster) Taylor. She lived for the past 28 years in the Kittanning RD 5 area and was a member of Salem United Church of Christ. Surviving are a son, Robert C Myers, of Brockport; four daughters, Mrs. Audley (Isabelle) Lasher of Kittanning RD 5, Mrs. Edward (Jean) Kester of Kittanning RD 5, Mrs. Robert (Grace) Pore of Ford City RD 1, Mrs. James (Mary) Dailey of McGrann; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Dorsey Taylor of Goshen, N. Y., Wade Taylor of Youngstown, Ohio, James Taylor of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Boyd Taylor of Kittanning. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Friday at Carson funeral home, Rural Valley. Friends also may pay their respects at Salem United Church of Christ one hour prior to service time at 2 p.m. Saturday. Rev. Raymond C. Strine and Rev. Eli Fabian will officiate. Interment will take place in Salem cemetery.

She was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ. She is survived by one son, Robert C. Myers, of Brockport; four daughters, Mrs. Audley (Isabelle) Lasher of Kittanning R.D. 5; Mrs. Edward (Jean) Kester of Kittanning R.D. 5; Mrs. Robert (Grace) Pore of Ford City R.D. 1; Mrs. James (Mary) Dailey of McGrann; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Four brothers; Dorsey Taylor of Goshen, N. Y., Wade Taylor of Youngstown, Ohio, James Taylor of Colorado Springs, Col., Boyd Taylor of Kittanning also survive. Arnold Slagle officiating. Pall bearers were Roy Hart, Austin Dailey, Fred Lasher, Fred Ridenour, Howard Lasher and Mack Ellenberger. Interment was in the Salem cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of Carson funeral home, Rural Valley.
