Funeral is 2 p.m. Friday at Sherwood Baptist Church. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at Cauthen Funeral Home, Lancaster.

Survivors are his sons, Dock Cox Jr., Steve Cox, Lloyd Cox, all of Lancaster; daughters, Mrs. Brenda Cauthen of Lancaster, Mrs. Pamela Harger; brothers, Thomas Ackerman of Simpsonville, Buddy Ackerman, Leonard Ackerman,
Jimmy Ackerman, all of Lancaster; sisters, Mrs. Joann Ghent of Liberty Hill, Mrs. Vera Haynes, Mrs. Hazel Hegler, both of Lancaster.
