Florence Johanna Hansen Eugster, a wonderful mother and grandmother, age 74, died April 14, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born July 25, 1915 in Salt Lake City, the daughter of Herman Ely and Eva Flora Christina Sorensen Hansen.

Married Howard G. Eugster on August 20, 1938 in Heber City, Utah; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Attended Salt Lake schools and graduated from the University of Utah in 1936 with a degree as a Registered Nurse. Was a visiting home-health nurse from Salt Lake County General Hospital and worked at the University of Utah Medical Center for many years.

Active member of the LDS Church, having served as Relief Society President in the Poplar Grove Ward. Member of the Salt Lake Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Avid tennis player. Past-president of Edison Elementary and Jordan Jr. High PTA's.

Survived by husband; one daughter and one son: Jo Ann Deakin and John Richard Eugster; nine grandchildren: Charmayne, Christina, John, Matthew, Jacob, Catherine, Cynthia, Camille and Joshua; brother, Richard C. Hansen; foster-sister, Helen Urutia; and sister-in-law, Rhoda Hansen. Preceded in death by a brother, H.S.`Bud' Hansen and a sister, Eva E. Hansen.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 1990 at 12:00 p.m. in the Poplar Grove Ward Chapel, 1401 West 700 South. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, on Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at the Church on Wednesday one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.
