Gladys V. Henry, 72, 705 East Pine, died Wednesday at the Midland Hospital Center.
She was born Jan. 20, 1907 in Midland. The former Gladys Altman married James L. Henry on Aug. 27, 1940, in Angola, Ind. She lived all of her life in Midland area and was a member of the Free Methodist Church. She worked as a nurse for Dr. W.D. Towsley for 20 years and briefly as a nurse for Dr. E. H. Meisel.
She is survived by her husband, James; a daughter: Sheryl S. Foster of Midland; her mother; Mrs. Pearl H. Altman of Midland; brothers, Harold Altman and Kenneth Altman, both of Midland.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Free Methodist Church with the Rev. Gordon Evoy officiating. Burial will be in the Midland Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Clipper-Bradley Chapel from 7-9 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
