LIVINGSTON, Nov. 18 - Funeral services for Vernon Hamlett Adams, 30, of Livingston will be conducted by Rev. W. A. Cash of Santa Cruz, formerly pastor of the Episcopal Churches of Merced and Livingston, at the Ivers & Alcorn Funeral Chapel in Merced at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Friends will attend the funeral service, and the entombment at the Merced Evergreen Mausoleum will be private.
Adams, who had served as postmaster at the Livingston Post Office for the past two years, died shortly after midnight Monday in the Mercy Hospital in Merced where he had received medical treatment since last Thursday morning after suffering from a heart attack at his home in Livingston.
