NOTE: The gravestone appears to be in error with the name and dates. His death certificate clearly shows he died in Mount Airy, NC, on July 7, 1954. His death certificate was signed by R. J. Loville, M.D., the attending physician on July 8, 1954, which is the same day he was buried. The certificate was filed by the County Registrar on Jul. 19, 1954.
