Addie Married Eward T. Hatton on June 20 1887 in Kokomo, Howard, Indiana, USA, they had three children as follows Ruth Fern (Hatton) Cosand, Zella Madeline (Hatton) Shaw, and Almira Jenness (Hatton) Ashley Baird.

Mrs. Addie Hatton

Mrs. Addie Eliza Hatton, 96, 700 S. Union St. Died at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Russell M. (Jenness) Baird, in Indianapolis. She had been resding in Indianapolis since Feb 5, 1961.

She was born Oct. 16, 1865 in Ervin Township, the daughter of Henry and Almira Jane (Burr) Moreland. On April 20, 1887, she was married to Edward T. Hatton, and they lived in Center shere they operated a General Store untill 1905. They then moved to Kokomo and operated a grocery store at Union Street and Vaile Avenue until 1911, when Mr. Hatton resumed his trade of carpentry. Mr Hatton died March 11, 1958

Mrs. Hatton was a member of the Center Christian Church. In April 1891 she became a charter member of the Center Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, serving as the first associate matron, then as Esther and secretary, becoming worthy matron in 1896. She was also a member of the Moriah Rebekah Lodge.

Surviving members of her family include three daughters Mrs Baird, Mrs Clyde (Ruth) Cosand of Kokomo and Mrs. Irving (Zella)Shaw of Canandaiguta, N.Y. four grandchildren, five Great Grandchildren, three Great Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fenn Funeral Home with burial in Crown Point Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.
