Helen E. Johns, 80, 1901 S Park Road, died at 3:44 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 1988, in Saint Joseph Hospital & Health Center. She was born July 14, 1907, in Kokomo, a daughter of Frank and Mamie (Johnson) Kingston. July 24, 1922, she married Walter R. Johns, who died Aug. 2, 1965.
Johns was a member of Morning Star House of the Lord.
Surviving are two sons, Walter Johns of Kokomo and Fred Johns of San Jose, Calif.; two daughters, Maxine Crockett of Kokomo R.R. 3, and Madeline Maddox of Kokomo;
12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A brother and a sister also preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Fenn Funeral Home.
The Revs. Marvin Price and O.B. Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
