Hazel Eileen Coker, 87, of Las Vegas, Nevada, died Tuesday, September 6, 2005, at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.
Born June 27, 1918 in Mattoon, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late John and Zella (Jones) Paul. She married Audie Coker and he survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Linda (husband Dr. Jay) Cozzolino of Redlands, California; one son Wayne (wife Janice) Baker, Yucaipa, California; three sisters, Martha Holt of Waldron, Bonnie Knight of St. Omer and Norma Hayes of Umpqua, Oregon; four grandchildren, Bryan (wife Jacinta) Baker of Salem, Oregon, Courtney Pierce of Indio, California, Kellie Baker and Kindra Baker; and two great-grandchildren, Isaac Baker and Nolan Baker.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, J.D. Paul; one grandson and his wife, Randy and Melissa Ledford; and two great grandchildren, Lonnie Ledford and Skyler Ledford.
Mrs. Coker was a home maker who loved gardening, canning and sewing.
Funeral services were Friday at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, in Las Vegas, with burial in Davis Memorial Park, in Las Vegas.
