Mrs. J.O. Adams Passes Away At Osborne

Mrs. J.O. Adams passed away at her home in Osborne Sunday afternoon at the age of 51 years. She had been in ill health for some time.

Funeral services were held at Osborne Tuesday afternoon and burial was made in Delphos Cemetery.

Survivors in the immediate family include the husband and three children, John B., Eugene and Mary Anita. A complete obituary will be published later.

Pansy Alice Mitchell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mitchell, was born at Valencia, Kansas, October 1, 1890. She attended high school, graduating at Topeka, and later graduated from Kansas State Teachers College at Emporia. She taught school for two years and was united in marriage to John O. Adams on June 6, 1916. The observed their 25th anniversary this year. Three children, two sons and a daughter, were born to them. They are John B., Eugene M. and Mary Anita. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Klene and Mrs. L.B. Crow. Her supreme interests were her family, her church, the school and charity.

Funeral services were held at the Congregational Church in Osborne Tuesday afternoon of last week, where a most beautiful and impressive service was conducted by Rev. John H. Jones, and under the auspices of the Eastern star lodge. The rostrum and chancel area was completely hidden by the beautiful floral offerings from church, ledge, relatives and friends. Following the service at the church, the body was brought to Delphos for interment in the Delphos Cemetery.
