William Matthew "Mike" O'Bryan, 81, of Bardstown died on Wednesday, February 2, 1994, at the Veterans Administration Regional Medical Center in Louisville. He was a World War II veteran and a longtime member of the Disabled American Veterans, American Legion Post 121 and the VFW. Survivors include his wife, Catherine O'Bryan of Bardstown; one son, Joseph Patrick "Joe' O'Bryan of Bardstown; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph M. (Judy) Waldridge of Bardstown; two grandchildren; five stepchildren; five brothers, Bernard and Buddy O'Bryan, both of Springfield Joe and Fred O'Bryan, both of Louisville, and Bill O'Bryan of Salem, Ind.; and four sisters, Jane Bradshaw of Springfield, Chris Ray of Danville and Martha Baxter and Shirley Cissell, both of Louisville. The funeral will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, 1994, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bardstown, with the Rev. Tony Smith officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Mann and Greenwell Funeral Home from 1 to 9 p.m. today with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
