He was born June 19, 1956 in Peoria to Richard L. and Elaine Waterstreet Hapke. He was preceded in death by this father.
Surviving are his mother; one brother, Mark (Paula) Hapke, Bloomington and six nieces and nephews, Jennifer Erickson and Valerie, Gregory, Joseph, Timothy and Lia Hapke, all of Bloomington.
