Marian Barnett died Sunday in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born in Indianapolis on March 24, 1919, the daughter of Oliver and Annie Willoughby. On Nov. 7, 1937 in Mt. Sterling, Ky., she married Albert Barnett. A retired Rome City School cafeteria supervisor for East Noble School Corporation, she had resided near Kendallville the past 23 years after moving from Indianapolis. She was a member of St. Gaspar Catholic Church, Rome City. Surviving are her husband; 3 daughters, Mrs. Leo (Delores) Maloney of Brookfield, Wis., Mrs. Larry (Sally) Garrett of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Frank (Fran) Beckwith of Columbia, Md.; a son, Albert Jr. of R. 3, Kendallville; a sister, Mrs. Edith Taylor of Indianapolis; four brothers, John and Arnold of Indianapolis, and Ralph and Homer of Seattle, Wash.; and 11 grandchildren. Services Wednesday at St. Gaspar Church.
