Lester Sherwood was born Aug. 15, 1922, in Pierz, MN, to the late Alva and Anna (Hoppe) Sherwood.
Survivors include his wife Gertrude Sherwood of Little Falls; sons, Robert Sherwood and wife Debbie of Royalton, MN, David Sherwood and wife Sharon of Zimmerman, MN and Donald Sherwood and wife Mary of Little Falls; daughter, Diane Hankes of Little Falls; brothers, Lawrence Sherwood and wife Eleanor of Hillman, and Lloyd Sherwood and wife Davon of Elbow Lake, MN; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lewis; and sisters, Lily, Lila and Loretta.
