A homemaker for many years, she was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, James Owen; sister, Ruth Bevil; brother, Howard Walls; and grandson, Steven Vernon, she is survived by daughters Linda Vernon and husband Larry of Dardanelle and Sally Rickard and husband David of Fort Smith; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Highland Cemetery in Ozark.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at Shaffer Funeral Home in Ozark.
