Clinton Ralph "Pete" Abbott, Jr., age 54, of Roebuck, SC, died September 21, 2000, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

A native of WV; son of Clinton R Abbott (1919–1986) and Jennie Lou Cooley Bailey (1924–2008).

A member of Stone Station Baptist Church and the Spartanburg Moose Lodge.

Also survived by his daughters, Sherri Lynn Abbott Shook and Shannon Michelle Abbott Robinette; brothers, Glenn Louis "Tim" Abbott, Sr. and David Keith Henderson; sister, Linda Ann Abbott White; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 4:00 pm, Sunday, at Lanford-Pollard Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Henry Johnson; entombment in Heritage Memorial Gardens.

Visitation was held from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, Saturday, at Lanford-Pollard Funeral Home.
