April 14, 2010 Mrs. Stella Jones McNeal, age 92, of Smyrna, passed away Monday, April 12, 2010.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 15th at the Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel in Smyrna with the Rev. Moody Shields and Chaplain Kevin Quiles officiating. Interment will be in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
A resident of Smyrna since 1962, Mrs. McNeal was a member of the Smyrna Church of Christ and worked for Bell Aircraft during WWII. She was a seamstress and a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Newton F. "Mac" McNeal. Surviving are: 2 sisters, Ruth Hill of Dalton & Lois Jones of Goose Creek, SC; niece, Lynda and husband, George Fulton of Powder Springs; several other nieces & nephews. Those who wish may make contributions to the Cobb County Humane Society. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna.
