MRS. JACOB BREMER
Abigail A. Bremer died at her home near Peculiar, Mo., December 10th, after a brief illness with pneumonia. Mrs. Bremer was born in Watertown, N. Y., December 22nd, 1829.
She is survived by four children, Mrs. Ella Seward, of Harold, South Dakota; Mrs. Ida Morris of Hopkins, Mo.; Miss Nora and N. M. Bremer, of Peculiar, Mo.
Mrs. Bremer was one of the early settlers of Union township. She and her husband, the late Jacob Bremer, resided on a farm near Derby for about forty years.
In the death of Mrs. Bremer we lose one of our pioneer women, who was widely known and was loved by all. Interment was made in the Derby cemetery Sunday afternoon.
