J.C.Reid,77,formerly of 1871 Bethlea Ave.,died Tuesday in a local hospital after an extended illness.Services will be held at 3p.m. Thursday in Evergreen Cemetery The Rev.Allem Hardison will officiate.
Mr.Reid A lifelong resident of Macon,was a retired Masonary Contractor an a member of
Second Baptist Church.
Survivors include six sons,William Reid,The Rev. Frederick D. Reid, Bobby G.Reid,And Jerry Reid all of Macon, James E. Reid of Atlanta and Ronnie Earl Reid of Cochran,a daugter Betty Barnett of Bonaire,31 Grandchildren and 33 Great-Grandchildren.
The family will be at the residence of The Rev.Frederick D. Reid.the family will recive friends at Hart's Mortuary 7 to 9 today
