Mrs. Wofford passed away at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 1982, in Tyler County Hospital after an illness. She was a native of Bay City, TX, and made her home in Woodville for the past 9 years.
Survivors include two sons, William A. Rhodes of Woodville, and Neal E. Rhodes of Lancaster, TX; two daughters, Kitty Cope of McAllen, TX, and Grace Hoggatt of Whitney, TX; one sister, Faith Cox of Mesquite, TX; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Richard Cox, Tom Lyons, Grady Weldon, Phil Mays, David Sutherland, and Frankie Weldon. Honorary pallbearers were Dennis Johnston, Joe Cornelius, Claude Kelley, Bill Reid, James Smith, and Raymond Henry.
