LANA KAY DEATHERAGE

A memorial service for Lana Kay Deatherage, 47, of Wynnewood was held Oct. 18 at Krien Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Deatherage was a 1973 Davis High School graduate.

She was born Dec. 10, 1954, at Chickasha to Harold and Betty (Pope) Deatherage and died Oct. 15, 2002, at Pauls Valley General Hospital. She worked for a short time for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company before beginning a career with the Department of Human Services as an accountant. She continued in this capacity until she was forced to retire due to illness. Mrs. Deatherage will be remembered for loving the outdoors, taking care of her animals and working on the ranch.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Niblett, of Wynnewood; both parents and two sisters, Connie and Cheryl Deatherage, both of Hennepin.

The family suggested donations to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
