Mildred B. Rigdon -WARNER ROBINS, GA - Mildred B. Rigdon, 104 years of age, passed away Monday, August 31, 2009. A graveside service was held on Wednesday at 2P.M. in the Byron Cemetery with the Rev. Sydney Odom officiating. -Mrs. Rigdon was born in Cobb County, GA. She was the daughter of the late Willis and Jamina (Hooks) Blackwell. She was also preceded in death by her husband Claude C. Rigdon, her daughter Clarice Rigdon and a grandson, Jeff Rigdon. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Centerville and a homemaker. Mrs. Rigdon graduated from a Crawford County School in 1924. -Survivors include her sons, James (Jerre) Rigdon of Cordele, Frank Rigdon of Centerville; three grandchildren, James Rigdon, Jr., Jill Gilbert, Becky Middlebrooks; and six great grandchildren. -Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
