Services for Vietta Hayes Gordon, 87, Greenville Road, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lamb Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Shaver officiating.
Burial will be in the New Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 tonight.
She died at 3:20 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2003, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
A native of Christian County, she was born Dec. 19, 1915, the daughter of the late Carl and Clyde Barrow Hayes. She had worked in Civil Service as a cook at Fort Campbell and also at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
She was a member of the New Ebenezer Baptist Church.
