Alma Lois Watts King, age 80, of Wilmington died Sunday, September 05, 2004, at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center.
She was born in Tabor City, NC, on April 6, 1924, the daughter of the late Millard Watts and Gly Soles Watts. She was the widow of Levy Jesse King, Sr. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard "Flip" Watts, Elbert Watts, and Bobby Watts.
Mrs. King was a member of Long Leaf Baptist Church. She was a Godly mother who loved her family very much. Her children and her church were her life.
Survivors include her children; Levy J. "Mickey" King, Jr. and wife Lois, William A. "Mike" King, Donnie F. King, Sr. and wife Lou, and Connie K. Casteen and husband Preston, all of Wilmington, NC; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, James Watts; and two sisters, Clarice Peterson, and Shelby Covington.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, September 7, 2004, at Long Leaf Baptist Church by Rev. Eugene Ridley. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
